MPA elect Gulraiz Afzan Chan receives kidnapping threats

At least six persons including runner up of PP-68 candidate Qamar Khan were arrested for the kidnap bid of MPA elect Gulraiz Afzal Chan of PTI.

According to a complaint registered by Gulraiz Afzal, he received kidnapping threats and his cars were also damaged by unknown men. On his complaint, the police had arrested six people including Qamar Khan.

The arrested have got interim bail till August 10th. Qamar Khan rejected all the claims against him and said that it was a clash between the supporters of MPA elect Gulraiz Afzal and MNA elect Nasir Bosal's group.

According to Qamar Khan, he had written a complaint against the rigging of elections and such negative steps are taken in order to stop recounting of votes in his constituency.
